You might soon be able to schedule emails by using the Gmail app, a new report surfaced online suggested. According to Android Police, tech giant Google is said to be working to add a new feature to its Gmail app which will enable Android users to schedule emails.
The indication comes after Android Police found a code in Gmail v8.7.15 APK consisting of words like 'schedule send' multiple times, supposedly revealing the new feature. Currently, users can still schedule an email using some methods, the new feature will make it much easier and faster if it comes as a default feature.
The report also suggests that the feature will be accessed by tapping on the overflow menu which is placed on the compose screen. Clicking on that link will enable users to select a particular date and time when they want the email to arrive. Last week, the company announced that it has started rolling out the final developer preview of Android P. The Android P Developer Preview 5 or beta 4 is the most stable version and can be tried before the final launch next month.
The 51.7MB update is for those already using the Android P Beta 3 and Google claims that it has fixed various bugs with this beta update. Presently, the Android P Beta 4 is available on Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Although the name for Android P has not been revealed yet, reports suggest that it will be Android Pistachio, Gagdets Now reported.
