GFGC Honnavar’s one day workshop concludes with resounding success

Honnavar : 30th September 2016,Govt First grade college BCA section’s one day workshop on ‘InfoTech in Business and Skill Development concludes with positive note from the staff and students. The workshop was mainly focused on training the students with techniques to improve their communication, overcoming the stage fear, facing the interviews and improving the analytical skills.
Mr. Ganim Mohtisham an eminent resource person who served as consultant for leading companies in Dubai also associated with Anjuman degree college and Mr. ‘Aheed Mohtisham’ a management faculty and professional trainer conducted four sessions with the students throughout the day . After the inauguration done by Dr Sumangala B Naik the principal GFGC at 9:30 am the program continued. Cases of successful south Indian Entrepreneurs like Patricia Narayan and PC Mustafa were taken up for analysis where the students identified the key personality features that led to their successes and recognition in the society. It was quite interesting to see the students who hail from remote parts of karwar district were showing to the stage for presenting themselves which manifested tremendous learning potential and urge for personality development. Resumes were prepared in the given format and mock interviews were conducted with the students.
A session focusing on how to remove the stage fear and overcome the stereotyping around ones surroundings were conducted by doing various motivational activities and motivational talks by the trainers using some very powerful examples, special focus was also given on the professional ethics and its importance in one’s life. It is to be noted that this was the first of its kind activity based workshop in the newly inaugurated function hall of GFGC Honnavar. The program was coordinated by Proff Dongrisab N and the other staff of the BCA division.
