Time to rethink the time you spend staying connected.
People used to write letters to convey to people about their well-being or to invite them over for the holidays, but that was decades ago. Then came the age of telephones when we spoke over the phone to our friends and relatives. Following this came the SMS era, which is still a little popular. Then came the e-mails. But, now that’s outdated too! This is the era of social networking. All we have to do is click on the Facebook app on our Android and iOS devices and voila we can communicate! Or just tweet to announce a party to your friends! There are numerous social networking sites —Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus, Pinterest, Orkut, Myspace and it goes on!
Facebook has now become a place to share pictures of our cats and dogs. And don’t get me started about Twitter!
Of course, they are all fun to use. But then we see that all we do is waste time online by sharing unnecessary posts like Internet memes and quotes, we realise that we actually have lots of time to have fun with friends and to improve ourselves academically!
Just give this a thought and quit dawdling around online! And I would like to add the fact that I practise what I preach.
