Mr Mohtesham Monde Saib said, if the highway is bypassed, the work will be completed smoothly and without any hurdle. He explained his point with the help of several examples. He said the 13 km stretch of highway work between Suratkal – Talpadi was started in the year 2002 and it was supposed to complete in 2004 but it is not yet completed because it is passing through the town whereas the Pune – Bangalore highway which passes mostly through outskirts was completed in a record time.
He said, ‘We are not against the project but we want to create awareness among people with correct information. He appealed people to attend the meeting in large number.
