Frustrated over illness, Sirsi woman commits suicide

Sirsi 2 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Depressed over her illness, a 63 year old woman committed suicide by gulping poison at her residence near Mattighara of Sirsi Taluka on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Madevi Naik, resident of Sirsi. It has been gathered that, Madevi, frustrated over not getting cure for her various ailments, on Tuesday morning drank poison and collapsed there, she was rushed to Government hospital Sirsi, but, breathed her last there. After post mortem the body was handed over to the family. A case has been registered at Sirsi rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
