Free coaching for Muslim aspirants for Civil Services exams

Hyderabad - TheHaj Committee of India(HCI) has invited applications for free Civil Services examinations (IAS and allied sevices) coaching for Muslim candidates to be held at Haj House, Mumbai. The 15-month coaching programme is slated to begin on August 25.

Prof S A M Hashmi, coaching programme director, said the candidates have to stay in the accommodation provided by the HCI for the entire duration of the programme. Selection of candidates is done through an entrance examination.

The session is divided into three phases along the lines of UPSC selection process - Prelims, Mains and Interview. At the end of each stage an examination is conducted and students who clear the exam proceed to the next stage. Candidates have to pay Rs 3,500 per month for boarding and lodging at Haj House, Mumbai, while coaching is provided free of cost.

This year the entrance exam for selection to the coaching programme will be conducted on June 24 at five centers across the country, including Hyderabad. Application forms for the entrance exam and prospectus are available at HCI website . The last date for submission is June 15.
