Fourth Inter Jamaat Conference underway at Calicut

Calicut - A 3 day 'Fourth Inter Jamaat Conference' of all the Institutes, organisations and Jamaaths of Bhatkal is underway at Waynad, Calicut. The representatives started gathering at the venue from 9 am today.

The inaugural session was presided by the President of Calicut Jamaath, Abdus Sattar Kazia. Among the other guests present on the stage included the convener of the conference Mr D.H. Shabbar, President and Secretary of Majlis-E-Islah O Tanzeem, Mr Badrul Hasan, Mr S.M. Parvez and Mr S. M. Khaleelur Rahman. The session was co-ordinated by Mohinuddin Ruknuddin.

According to the sources, a total of 150 delegates have gathered for the conference.

The second session was began with the introduction of different Organizations and Institutes of Bhatkal later the 'Action Taken Report' was presented based on the suggestions and recommendations by delegates in the last Inter Jamaat Conference. This session was presided by Abdul Kadir Basha, President of Bhatkal Muslim Jamaath, Dubai and it was concluded with the lunch at around 2 pm.
