Four of a family electrocuted in Belagavi

Belgavi: A electric wire that fell off the electric pole due to heavy rain and wind in the B Timmapur village of Ramadurga Taluk in the Belgavi District, killed four people of a family and two domesticated animals on Thursday morning here. The deceased have been identified as Revappa Kalloli, Ratnavva Kalloli, Sachin and Krishna. Due to the heavy rain in the village, a live electric line had fell off on the streets on Wednesday evening. However, on Thursday morning when the four deceased were on their way to the farm stepped on the live wire resulting in their electrocution. According to the reports HESCOM was in loop with the information about the line falling down, but it is said that an irresponsible conduct to the complaint has resulted in the tragic incident.
