Four including two from Bhatkal arrested in robbery cases at Karkala

Karkal 17 Feb 2018: The Karkala city police were successful in  arresting four robbers, who were engaged in robbing in Uttar Kannada and Udupi districts and seized weapons, Cash, Cars and gold worth lacs of rupees on Thursday.

Karkal Circle Inspector Joy Anthony revealed the information to the media.

The accused have been identified as Sajid Rehman(19), resident of Belapu village of Udupi District, Amiruddin Saddam (27), resident of Karkala Taluk, Maroof (21) of Usman Nagar, Bhatkal, and Natraj (24) of Sodigadde, Bhatkal.

Among them Sajjid Rehman, and Amiruddin had trespassed the house of Yashoda Bhat of Karkala and looted Rs. 1 lakh cash and gold worth 4 Lakhs Rupees and had escaped from there.

And various cases like cash and gold robbery, bike theft and several other cases have been booked against Maroof , Natraj and Six others in the last one year, where the police have seized Four gold chains, bangles and the car that was used for the criminal activities.

However, the other two accused of the team were successful in fleeing from the cops and the police are looking for them.
