Foundation stoned layed for Jamia Masjid in Kumta

Bhatkallys News Service/ Special Correspondent Kumta: Foundation stone laying ceremony for Kimani Juma Masjid in Kumta was held onin the presence of Prominent Ulmas of Kumta and Bhatkal. Leaders and members of several Muslim organizations were also present at the ceremony. Moulana Iqbal Naite, Moulana Ameen, and Moulana Iqbal Bangali addressed the ceremony on the importance of Masjids in Islam, and welcomed the move by the management to construct another Jamia Masjid in the town. Those present at the event included, Kumta Jamat Ul Muslimeen President Muhammad Shafi Shaikh, North Kanara Muslims United forum Gen Secy. Muhammad Mohsin Quazi, president of Mirzan Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen Janab Badruddin Shaikh, Secretary Abdul Shukur, Janab Nooruddin Saheb from Betkuli, Kumta muslim association president Muhammad Akbar Mulla, Maulana Ahmed, Janab Abdul Malik Basti, Janab Shukur Shaikh and hundreds of residents from Kimani, and a number of people from Bhatkal were also present.
