Foundation stone laying ceremony held for Juma Masjid in Kumta

Bhatkallys News Service Kumta: Foundation stone laying ceremony for a new Juma Masjid in Kumta was held on Friday Morning in the presence of Prominent Uamas of Kumta. Several Muslim scholars of Kumta were also present at the event. The ceremony commenced with Recitation of Quran and Na’at. Moulana Addressed the ceremony and welcomed everyone on the occasion, he also spoke about the importance of Masjids in his address. Kumta Jamat Ul Muslimeen President Muhammad Shafi Shaikh, Kumta Muslim association president Muhammad Akbar Mulla, North Kanara Muslims United forum Gen Secy. Muhammad Mohsin Quazi, and Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal Vice president Inayathullah Shabandri were among others hundreds of locals who attended the ceremony.
