Foundation stone laid for new English School in Murdeshwar

Murdeshwar - Murdeshwar Muslim Education Society's former President Mr. Chadkhan Siddi Mohammed and his son Chadkhan Khwaja Sahab have laid the foundation stone of a school named 'The New English School' at a brief ceremony held here at National High School Grounds, Murdeshwar. The Muslim Education Society will manage and run the school.
On this occasion a brief felicitation program was also held wherein MES has honored Janab Siddi Mohammed Sahab by presenting him a 'Sipas Nama' and memento in recognition of his services to the community in the field of education.
On this occasion several leaders including Bhatkal MLA Mr. JD Naik, Inayatullah Shabandari, Dr. I R Bhat, Mr. Guru Mathur etc have interacted with the audience and shed light on different aspects of education in today's modern world. The speakers also praised the people of Bhatkal and Murdeshwar for maintaining peace and harmony after the Ayodhya verdict.
Mr Ibrahim Khattal presided over the function. Secretary of the society Dr. Ameenuddin Guda presented the brief introduction and Muhammad Gangavali presented the welcome speech while Mr Haji Ameen anchored the program.
Apart from the above mentioned personalities, Kazi of Murdeshwar Jamatul Muslimeen Moulana Abdus Samad, Abdul Majeed, Zafar Saifullah and others were present.
