Bhatkal - Former KPCC President Mr RV Deshpande yesterday visited Bhatkal and conducted a meeting of Congress workers here at Rabita Society's Kazia Hassan Hall. Addressing the party worker he attacked the ruling BJP government and said 'Despite serious corruption charges, no BJP ministers are ready to resign from their posts, this shows their greed towards power. On the other hand our ministers have resigned in the interest of people.' He also criticized BJP for not keeping promises made to the people and not showing any interest in development activities, instead they were involved in accumulating wealth. He added.
On this occasion Bhatkal MLA Mr JD Naik also interacted with the audience and targeted district in-charge minister Mr Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri.
