Forest officials make a second attempt to demolish a house in Master Colony, Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Officials of Forest Department demolished the compound wall of the house located at Master Colony located in Jamiabad Road Bhatkal on second occasion and also attempted to demolish the house.
According to sources, officials of Forest Department came today morning and demolished the compound wall of the house located at Master Colony, Jamiabad Road. Till the time they demolished the compound wall, neighbours from the surrounding area gathered in huge numbers and they did not allow the house to be demolished even though forest officials had brought the police force along with them.
On this occasion, members of Majlis Islah-o-Tanzeem also spoke with the forest officers and requested that the matter be solved amicably after discussing it with senior forest officials.
It should be borne in mind that the compound wall of this same house was demolished a day before assembly elections but any further action by them was stopped due to protest of locals in that area. With their second action, locals in that area have been aggravated.
