Forest officials demolish two illegal construction sites on forest land in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 25 December 2019: Forest officials continued their crackdown on illegal constructions on forest lands in Bhatkal as they demolished two structures on two different places of the town on Tuesday. After receiving credible information that a vehicle service centre was being run at a forest land in Venkatapur, the personnel reached the spot and demolished the site. In another case where a construction of house was in progress, the forest officials demolished the under-construction house and stopped construction. Fores officials including Savita Devadiga, Shrikant, Mallikarjuna, Parmod, Manjunath and others were present during the operation.
