Flood situation further worsens in Assam, 10 lakh people in 19 districts affected

Guwahati: Flood situation in Assam further deteriorated with 19 of the 32 districts of the state reeling under water. People in different places taking shelter in make-shift relief camps have complained of not having sufficient support from the state government. The children have become highly vulnerable to diseases. Mothers’ have complained of not having sufficient number of baby foods and shelter materials. As on Wednesday, 19 districts have been submerged by the flood water which has affected around 10 lakh population of the state.   Source: TwoCircles.Net
