Five goods wagons derail near Dudhani, trains diverted

At least five wagons of a goods train derailed in the early hours on Monday near Dudhani Railway Station in Maharashtra coming under the Solapur Wadi division. The incident took place at 1.50 a.m. on Monday. The goods train carrying chemicals was on its way from Malkhed to Solapur. According to sources, at least 11 trains were diverted on the Hotgi-Guntakal, Wadi-Latur-Manmad line after the incident. No causalities have been reported. Trains diverted The following trains have been diverted: Jaipur-Yeshwantpur Suvidha special via Hotgi-Vijayapura-Yeshwantpur; Rajkot-Coimbatore Express via Hotgi-Vijayapura-Guntakal; CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express; CST Mumbai-Kanyakumari Express; New Delhi-KSR Bengaluru Express; CST Mumbai-Chennai Express; Dadar-Chennai Egmore Express; Varanasi-Mysuru Express; KSR Bengaluru-Ahmedabad Express; Coimbatore-Lokamanya Tilak Terminus Express; KSR Bengaluru-New Delhi Express.
