Fishermen rescued from sinking boat near Kunda island in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 16 September 2019: About five fishermen were rescued from a sinking fishing boat near Kunda Island of Bhatkal Coast on Sunday. According to sources Raghavendra Kharvi, Chetan Kharvi, Udaykumar Kharvi, Shaniyaar Moger and Raghu Kharvi had gone to fishing on Sunday. However, their boat started sinking when the water started to holing inside the boat. The fishermen nearby rescued all the five victims and towed the boat to the shores.
