Fisherman drowns after getting trapped in fishnet

27 Oct 2013 / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A fisherman who went for fishing at Hertar sea in Heble yesterday evening got drowned in the sea after being trapped in the fishnet. The deceased has been identified as Shankar Nagappa Moger (48), a resident of Hertar. As per inputs, he went for fishing in the evening but did not return until late night. Concerned about this, locals went for his hunt but could not find him the whole night. At last  today morning his lifeless body trapped in the fishnet was recovered from a mountain in the midst of the sea. This case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station and the corpse has been sent to Bhatkal Government Hospital for autopsy.
