Fire broke out at three locations in Bhatkal:  causes problems for fire brigades

Bhatkal: 8 February 2021 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Fires broke out at three separate locations in a row due to the heavy winds that have been blowing in Bhatkal since this morning, making it impossible for the fire brigade personnel to reach out. A fire broke out in the grass and cashew trees at SodiGede Cross here today and was brought under the control by fire brigade personnel. Meanwhile, a fire broke out in Belke, and also a junk shop and adjoining chicken shop in Mowgli Honda came under fire. However, owing to a series of fire accidents, the fire department staff were unable to reach the shops on time, causing great damage. The public was upset because of that. It is reported that at present there is just one vehicle in the fire station because the other vehicle has gone for repair. The traffic grid was briefly affected by the fire at the junk shop on the National Highway at Mowgli Honda. In all these accidents, millions of rupees of damage were reported.
