Fire at Yellapur government hospital; no casualities

Yellapur 21 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A shot circuit followed by fire was reported at the government hospital of Yellapur on Tuesday August 21. The fire was reported by Pharmacist of the hospital and reportedly no doctors or patients were present in the hospital during the incident. Pharmacist Manjunath, made his way out through the emergency exit of the hospital upon noticing the fire and alerted the local residents, who rushed to the spot and took control over the fire after disconnecting the power supply of the hospital. Several machinery of the hospital including scanning machine, bio-metric technologies and computers were left damaged during the incident. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
