Finishing touches to the expansion in Makkah

Jeddah - 21 July 2012: Workers are seen putting finishing touches to the new expansion of the Grand Mosque in Makkah. King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, issued directives to make use of the new expansion area effective the first day of Ramadan. The Monarch ordered that the ground floor of the new expansion and a large portion of the courtyards, which accommodate over 200,000 persons, to be opened for Umrah performers and visitors.
