Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 14 Dec 2017: Uttara Kannada district MP, Anantkumar Hegde on Thursday slammed Siddaramaiah government and called his government 'Shameless', while also blaming the state government of tampering and destroying the evidences of the Paresh Mesta's case. He also tweeted about the evidence being destroyed for CBI investigation. Hegde, further tried to defend the violence that took place in the District in the name of protest. He termed the protest as 'Peaceful' and blamed the government for instilling the violence during the protest.

The Facebook post of the MP read as follows: Following the district people's strike and their unrest towards the murder of Paresh at Honnavara, finally the battered and cornered Siddaramaiah government has conveyed to handover the murder case to CBI for further investigations. The entire district had responded to the dastardly act in deep grief and had protested peacefully venting out their anger, frustrations and loss of the beloved one. The very inhuman act had shook not only the deceased family but the entire state and more disgusting was the means in which the shameless state government further responded to the issue. Didn't the Chief Minister who boasts of being a socialist democrat feel that, repressive measures taken to shun the peaceful protest of the district people were totally undemocratic and inhuman? The people have thus responded and have a given a solid response to Siddaramaiah's useless Home Minister and another consultant gem of his government. The people of the district have been talking aloud about the tragedy of all the primary traces and proof of evidences linking the murder being destroyed, twisted, fabricated by the police authorities and then the immoral government talking about transferring the case to CBI. This very view holds the mirror to the shameless Siddaramaiah's government. This is the way this demonic government has treaded its path in its entire tenure. The senseless Home Minister who expresses this horrific assassination as just another death case might be dreaming of decorating and glorifying the position for the remaining period of his tenure with more such "just another death" cases. However.... Paresh has left this world recording the cruel and beastly treatment meted to him all over his body and face. The district people have decided to settle the account judiciously for every every drop of his blood and would not settle down for any compromise. This is the mandate that I have been empowered with and happens to be the way of protest in the coming days. We have received clear signs that the government of having destroyed all the primary evidences and then escaping the noose by shifting the blame on CBI. It is in this earnest, that the protest would not be taken back and also would like to clarify that no forces within and external can try to undermine our determination to fight for the cause relentlessly till the goals are achieved.
