Fill vacant posts of KAT panel members in 4 months: Karnataka HC

BENGALURU: The Karnataka high court has directed both the state as well as the union government to take steps to fill up within four months the vacant posts of judicial as well as administrative members in the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) .
This was after the court was told that by December 15,2015 notification, former high court judge Justice K Bhakthavatsala has been appointed as Chairman.The bench also disposed of the PIL filed in this regard by some of the advocates who had sought for filling of vacant posts in the KAT.
The court also disposed of the PIL filed by some of the advocates.
