Fill the vacancies, Karwar CMC employees urged DC

Karwar - 02 Dec 2011: Members of Karwar City Municipal Council (CMC) on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Uttar Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mr. B.N Krishnaiah urging him to fill vacancies in City Municipal Council.

The member under the leadership of Karwar CMC President, Mr. Ganapati Ulvekar said that the former Commissioner A. D. Revanakar had retired on September 30, since then, the post is vacant. They said that, Karwar being a district headquarters, a huge development fund is being released for its development. So, to utilized this fund in a proper way, a responsible officer is required.
