Fans, lights, racks shake, people on streets as tremors jolt Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: 3 October 2023 (Agencies) As several parts of North India experienced strong tremors, people took to social media to share videos of objects shaking inside their homes.
Delhi and its surrounding areas experienced strong tremors after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. Videos captured the impact of the tremors - which lasted for over a minute - with fans and lights shaking in homes and offices. People also rushed out of their homes and buildings and gathered in open spaces.

One of the videos shows a shelf swaying violently in an office in Noida due to the tremors.

Several others show lights and fans shaking.
