Murdeshwar 13 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Murdeshwar police on Thursday evening quashed reports of situation being tensed after clashes between members of two communities started doing rounds on WhatsApp, on Thursday  December 13, evening. As soon as the reports started doing round on the popular social media platform, Bhatkallys.com got in touch with police officials and locals and enquired about the report, who quashed all such reports and appealed people to not believe WhatsApp messages, terming it to be another tactic of hate-mongers to disturb the peace, law and order in the region. The message that soon was being widely shared added that, clashes between two communities (Muslim and Hindu) were reported after a personal scuffle between two individuals of two communities turned violent. However, police admitted that the case had taken place in the evening, but there was no communal angle to it, and it was just a personal scuffle, which after police intervention in the matter was brought down and a case was yet to be filed. Bhatkallys.com also contacted founder of Murdeshwar Brothers News (MB News) Hidayat Maddas, who was also of a similar opinion that the messages were being spread by hate-mongers who want to disturb the peace in the reach and otherwise the situation in all good in the coastal town. Bhatkallys.com also advises its readers to not believe and react to any such messages or forwards without confirmation from authentic source as forwarding such texts can also lead to legal action against those involved in forwarding these messages.
