Failed robbery attempt at Karnataka Bank

Bhatkal - 23 July 2011: A failed robbery attempt has been reported from Karnataka Bank located near Ranginkatte, NH-17, Bhatkal. According to the sources, the robbers entered into the bank through rear window but failed to break the strong lockers and returned empty handed. When they didn't found anything, angry robbers damaged several documents, furniture and CCTV camera.

After receiving the information, a team led by Bhatkal DySP M Narayan visited the bank and inspected the area. Services of Dog squad and finger print experts have also been taken to collect evidence.
