Essentials shops will now be open from 8 to 12,four days a week in Uttar Kannada

Bhatkal: 27 May 2021 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan of the Uttara Kannada District has altered the lockdown restrictions, bringing much relief to the people. He informed reporters today that the district will be closed for three days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but that the public would be allowed to buy things on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. He also stated that, following a review of the district’s data, micro containment zones are being established in a number of locations, with attempts being made to get the essential supplies to the households. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner cautioned that individuals who went outside without authorization would face severe consequences and that the necessary instructions had been issued to the police in this regard. He further stated that this decision was made with great care to ensure that no one was harmed. He hoped that during this time, people would follow the principles of lockdown and prevent unnecessary outings. Private Vehicles will be prohibited at this time, and anyone who violates the prohibition may face severe consequences.
