Engineering student jumps to death

Mangaluru: A 21-year-old engineering student allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of a commercial complex at Felix Pai Bazaar Road here on Wednesday, July 25. The deceased has been identified as Guruprasad, a resident of Jeppinamogaru. He was pursuing his first-year engineering studies at Shrinivas College. He had left home on the pretext of visiting the college. However, he went to Kunil Complex building, said police sources. Police said that Guruprasasd was depressed and this may have led him to take this extreme step. Source: News Karnataka
