(BE/B.Tech) Bachelor of Engineering/Technology Courses in India Eligibility — Any student who has successfully completed HSC (Higher Secondary) or 10+2 examination with mandatory subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can opt for this course. Course Duration — 4 Years Admission Procedures — Admission procedure of B.Tech in most of the colleges are similar. All the eligible candidates need to appear in an entrance examination either specific to the college or to the state or national level. After that they need to appear in a personal counseling session and based on the score obtained, students will be allocated admission in the colleges. Career Prospects — After successful completion of B.Tech course, one can pursue further studies or can find jobs in different engineering firms like equipment companies, manufacturing sectors, automobiles companies, computer and information technology companies, shipping industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and several other engineering sectors.

(ME/M.Tech) Master of Engineering/Technology Courses in India

    Eligibility — Student can opt for M.E/M.Tech program once they completed 4 yrs undergraduate program in engineering or 5 yrs program in Science or Applied science.   Course Duration — 2 Years   Admission Procedures — Different colleges have different admission procedures for this course, but in most of the colleges, the admissions are taken either on the basis of entrance test or in a merit basis.   Career Prospects — After successful completion of M.Tech course, the overall career prospect is good and is considered excellent in certain specialties. The employment in engineering is supposed to grow at an average pace very much like other occupations. One can find employment in almost all related industries including academics, research institutes and can also find employment in the government sectors in various arms of state and central government.
