Employee of Tahsildar's office attempts suicide in Bhatkal

13th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: An employee of Bhatkal Tahsildar Office, Mahadev Nagappa Naik (36) attempted suicide today near the office after he was suspended from his duty. His condition is said to be very critical now. According to reports, Mahadev, a resident of Belni, who was working as Assistant Village Accountant in the Tahslidar's office and father of two kids, received suspension orders at around 11:00 am. Disheartened, he attempted suicide by consuming phenyl. Immediately after this incident, he was rushed to Bhatkal Government Hospital and later sent to Kundapur for further treatment.
