Elections held for President and Vice President of Bhatkal TMC: Qasimji Pervez gets post of President and Qaiser Mohtasham becomes Vice President

Bhatkal: November 5, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Elections for the President and Vice President of TMC were held today in 23-ward Town Municipality of Bhatkal in which Mr. Pervez Qasimji and Mr. Qaiser Mohtasham were elected unopposed for the post of Precident and Vice President respectively.   This morning Mr. Pervez filed nomination papers for the post of President and Mr. Qaiser Mohtasham for the post of Vice President after which the election process started in presence of Bhatkal Tehsildar Ravi Chandra and Electoral Officer. But as no one was named in the contest, their victory was declared uncontested.   After these elections, public is hoping that these people will take Bhatkal's problems seriously and show that they will solve them and will try to develop Bhatkal further in the light of their previous experiences.
