Election Time: 7 candidates file nomination

On the last day of filing nomination, seven more candidates submitted their nomination papers 17th April 13 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Today was the last day for filing nomination for the Assembly elections. Seven candidates from Bhatkal Taluka filed their nominations today. These include one from KJP, one from BSR Congress, one from BSP and four independent candidates. Candidates that submitted their nominations today include Shivanand Naik (ex-minister) of KJP, M M Naik of BSR Congress, Santosh Prabhu of BSP. Independent candidates include Mr Mankal Vaidya, Mr. Khaleel Shipai Saheb, Mr. Kumar Heble, Mr. K R Bhushan (Honnavar). All these candidates submitted their nomination papers today afternoon to Assistant Comissioner Mr V R P Manohar. Prior to this a rally was taken by Karnataka Janata Party in which KJP's candidate Mr. Shivanand Naik was presented with a garland and the procession was taken through the town. On this occasion, a huge gathering of people was present along with him.
