Elderly woman sustains head injuries as tipper truck knocks her down; critical

Bhatkal 13 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A pedestrian walking beside the national highway sustained severe head injuries when a tipper truck knocked her down from behind here at Ranginkatta on Saturday January 12. The injured has been identified as Ameena Daddi (70), a resident of Jamiabad. As per sources, the woman was walking her way towards hospital when the incident took place. The victim was soon rushed to Government hospital of Bhatkal for first aid and was later shifted to a private hospital at Mangaluru. The condition of the victim is said to be severe and she is being administered the treatment is at Mangaluru. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
