Eid programme at Naunihaal school

Bhatkal, September 5,2011 (Bhatkallys News): A colorful hamd-o-naat recitation programme was hosted at the Naunihaal school to commemorate the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations this year.
The inaugural program began with a Qir'at by Fahad Malpa translated by Sahil Kola. A rendition of naat by students Reha and Juhaina created the right mood to mark the onset of celebrations.
Later, Hussain Kazi and Affan Bafaqi also rendered hamd and Naity poems. Abdul Jabbar Asadi spoke briefly in Kannada about the prominence of Eid.
Moulana Khaja Moinuddin Akrami Nadvi, Imam and Khateeb of Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen addressed the gathering and also extended Eid greetings while highlighting the prominence of Ramadan and fasting.
Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi, Imam and Khateeb Jamia Masjid also offered his Eid greetings.
The cultural programme was attended by Bhatkal DySP M. Narayan, CIP Shiv Prakash, PSI Suresh Naik and Surendra Shanbhag, Sevavahini President.
The programme end with a dua by Moulana Abdul Bari. Abdullah Kola compeered the event which started shortly after Isha'a prayer. Guests were also served with dinner.
