Eid Milan with a difference!

22 Oct 2013 | Aftab Kola | Bhatkallys News MUSCAT: As usual the Muscat Eid Milan 2013 demonstrated that when kids are given a chance to display their talents, nothing can beat them... fantastic skits and songs presentation by Bhatkal kids, innovative Bhatkalnama quiz, academic excellence awards and excellent arrangements marked the BMJ Muscat Eid Milan 2013.  Held at Crystal Suites in Wadi Kabir on the first day of Eid Al Adha, the Eid Milan was graced by S. M. Syed Khalil, president of BMKC and Yunus Kazia, secretary-general of BMKC. Syed Khalil said he has very been closely attached with Muscat Jamat while Yunus Kazia praised the Jamat for taking a number initiatives for community development. Aftab Kola, senior vice-president of BMJ Muscat and convenor, BMJ Education Committee, hosted the Academic Excellence Awards. Earlier, Salim Sada, president of the Jamat, welcomed. The entertainment segment opened up with a gorgeous presentation of Labpe Aati song with a candle lit in the front. This was followed by well-performed skits like Ka Zaaley Amche Gaon, Har Dam Allah Kar, Imandar Taajeer and Zara Sa Hasna Ho Jaye items. Amchi Kainaat (Our creation) received thunderous applause for its extremely well-done, tastefully-attired presentation while Bahwar Kaun equally was well appreciated. Solo songs were presented by S.M. Syed Shakeel, Mulla Shakeel, Ishaque Ruknuddin, Abdul Hain Sada. Mulla Shakeel and group made a hilarious sound presentation that of a boat being pulled into the waters. Bhatkalnama 2013, an innovative quiz programme, directed by Aftab Kola and conducted by Salahuddin Ayub Siddibapa, was another highlight of the extremely successful Eid Milan. Qamar Merchant, Eid Milan committee convenor, compered. Raffle was managed by Nisar MJ, Raza Barmavar, Suhail Ekkeri and Riyaz Merchant. Sumptuous dinner was served in the beginning of the eve.
