Eid in Bhatkal on Friday

Bhatkal - Bhatkal will mark the first day of Eid Ul Fitr celebrations on Friday, 10 September. Hilal committee announced the sighting of the moon in Chennei marking the start of Shawwal and end of fasting.Earlier the Qazis of Mangalore, Udupi and Ullal have declared Friday is the Eid day as the reports of moon sighting is received from Kasargod and nearby areas.

Eid Namaz will be offered in all Juma Masajid of Bhatkal at 8:00 am. The decision was taken in the wake of frequent rain in the region. Moulana Zakariya Barmawar Nadvi will lead the prayers at Jamia Masjid Bhatkal.
