DUBAI: The UAE on Wednesday isolated a passenger on a plane that arrived at Dubai airport from Liberia via Morocco and was running tests on him to check for symptoms of Ebola, WAM news agency said.
WAM cited the ministry's statement as saying the passenger was suffering from diarrhea but added “all the indications until now exclude that the passenger has Ebola symptoms especially since he does not suffer from high body temperature.” All passengers on the same plane have undergone the necessary checks.
Meanwhile, France announced Wednesday it would begin carrying out health checks on travelers. “France will put in place a system of controls for planes arriving from the zone affected by the virus,” the presidency said in a statement.
