Earthquake of magnitude 4 hits south Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: An earthquake of magnitude 4 hits Al-Namas governorate in ‘Asir Province, Saudi Arabia on 3rd November.
According to news published in Khaleej Times, the Saudi Geological Survey said that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter Scale was recorded.
Speaking on this incident, local administration officials confirmed that no damage was caused due to tremors.
It may be mentioned that on 17th September, earthquake of magnitude 3 was also recorded at the coast of Jeddah. The epicenter of the quake was in the middle of the Red Sea and occurred at a depth of 20.88 km. However, the tremor was mild, it was not felt by any citizen of the coastal cities near the earthquake.
