Dubai to host first Bhatkal Pro Kabaddi League on August 31

Dubai:  22 August 2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The Bhatkal Bulls Team Management will organise the first-ever Bhatkal Pro Kabaddi League (BPKL) on August 31, 2025, at the Indian Model School in Garhoud, Dubai. Matches will begin from 8 am onwards.

The tournament will feature six teams with a mix of experienced and young players from across the Gulf. Organisers said the aim of the league is to revive the traditional sport of Kabaddi, give young athletes a platform to showcase their talent, and strengthen bonds within the Gulf-based Bhatkali community.

The participating teams are Tparty Officials, Unique Raiders, Crown Stone Real Estate, Auz Paltan, BMJ – Saudi Dammam, and Royal Nawayath – Oman. Each side has announced its owners, squads and icon players.

The event has also drawn sponsorship support from several businesses. SMS Auto Services is the title sponsor, while SM Rahmani, Aman Gas, One Business, Aysha Hamn, Unigas and Gulf Biz have joined as support sponsors. Prime Medical Hospitals is the medical partner and Aqeels Home Made Kitchen is the food partner.
