Dubai Government awards Shafaat Ahmed Shahbandari

Dubai, 16 February 2016 - Shafaat Ahmad Shahbandari, a Bhatkalli journalist working with Dubai-based Gulf News has received a top honor from Government of Dubai for his journalistic work. He was awarded with the best journalist award at Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST 2016). The award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group. The award recognises Shafaat's efforts in highlighting Dubai's sustainable mobility and infrastructure projects Speaking with Bhatkallys.com, Shafaat said, "I am delighted and feel grateful on being chosen for this honour.
