Drug dealer getting orders from outside UAE arrested in Dubai

Dubai Police recently arrested a drug dealer and seized 859g of heroin, 7.1kg of crystal meth and 5,083 Tramadol pills from his possession. The 29-year-old Asian had entered the country via a visitor visa, and was caught red-handed dealing drugs in the emirate. Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for CID Affairs, said the suspect was acting on instructions from a drug dealer outside the UAE to sell and promote drugs in Dubai. Al Mansouri reiterated Dubai Police's intolerance towards drug dealers and smugglers who aim to make money in the most illegal and harmful ways. Brigadier Eid Mohammad Thani Hareb , Director of Anti-narcotics of Dubai Police, urged members of the public to report any suspicious drug activities to Dubai Police's call centre by call the toll-free number 901 or through the force's smartphone application.
