Dr. Zameerullah Sharief appointed President of 'Uttara Kannada Zilla Sahitya Sammelana'; working journalist association felicitates the Kannada poet

Bhatkal 16 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Retired Principal and prominent Kannada poet Dr. Syed Zameerullah Sharief who was recently appointed as President of ‘Uttara Kannada Jilla Sahitya Sammelana” was felicitated by the working journalist Association of Bhatkal and Uttara Kannada district at his residence in Bhatkal on Saturday, 15 December. Speaking on this occasion, Sharief said “It’s the love and trust that people have showered on me and also the respect from my student that has brought me here”. Uttara Kannada district President R.K.Bhat while speaking on the occasion said “It’s a proud moment for the people of Bhatkal that a poet from Bhatkal has become the president of District literature association” he added. On this occasion journalist including, “Bhaskar Naik, Mohan Naik, Muhammed Rizwan Gangavali, Editor of Karavali Prabha Ragavendra Hebbar, Prasanna Bhat, Uday Naik, Ragavendra Malya and others were present.
