Dr. Zakir Naik conferred prestigious 'SHARJAH AWARD for Voluntary Work'

13 Jan 2014 | Bhatkallys News Mumbai: All praise be to Almighty Allaah, Dr. Zakir Naik has been conferred the prestigious ‘SHARJAH AWARD for Voluntary Work’ for the year 2013 (1434 Hijri) by the Government of Sharjah under the patronage of Shaikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council of UAE and Ruler of Sharjah for his voluntary services for Islam on an international scale. This International Award will InshaAllah be presented to Dr. Zakir Naik by Shaikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al- Qasimi at a special ceremony at the Alrazi Hall, University of Sharjah, on 15th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1435 Hijri i.e. Thursday 16th January 2014, at 9.30 am. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik (born 18 October 1965) is an Indian public speaker on the subject of Islam and comparative religion. He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) and has held many debates and lectures around the world.
