Dr. H S Venkateshmurthy to preside over 85th Akhil Bharat Kannada Sahitya Sammelan

Bengaluru: Noted Kannada poet and writer Dr. H S Venkateshmurthy was on Wednesday selected to preside over the 3-day 85^th Akhil Bharat Kannada Sahitya Sammelan that is slated to be held in Kalaburagi between February 5 –7. Venkateshmurthy’s name was decided during a meeting of Kannada Sahitya Parishat’s working committee on Wednesday in Bengaluru. The reports were confirmed by Kannada Sahitya Parishat Chairman Dr. Manu Baligar. As reported by Dr. Manu Baligar the 3-day event will be organised at an approximate expense of Rs 10 – 12 Crores.
