Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar receives B-form for Uttara Kannada constituency from DK Shivakumar

Bengaluru: Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, the Congress candidate for the Uttara Kannada constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, received her B-form from Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar in Bengaluru on Saturday.

The formal handover of the B-form took place in a ceremony attended by Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, DK Shivakumar, and Bhatkal MLA and Karnataka Minister of Fisheries, Mankal Vaidya.

Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar shared a video of the event on her social media account, receiving the B-form from DK Shivakumar.

The B-form, also known as Form B, is a crucial document in the nomination process for political candidates. It is signed by an authorized representative of the political party and specifies the candidate nominated by the party. The form also includes provisions for naming a substitute candidate in case the original nominee's candidacy is rejected. Essentially, the B-form serves as proof that a candidate is endorsed by a political party and ensures that they are allocated the party's reserved symbol, along with other benefits associated with it.
