Karwar: Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, the Congress candidate from the Uttara Kannada constituency in the ongoing Lok Sabha election, assisted an injured bike rider on Friday. The incident was shared through a video on her social media handle, X (formerly known as Twitter).

Reports suggest that Dr. Anjali encountered the injured bike rider while returning from her campaign on Thursday evening. The rider was found lying injured beside the road on the Yellapur-Sirsi Highway. Witnessing that no one was aiding the rider, Dr. Anjali stopped and provided assistance, arranging for his transportation to a nearby hospital.

In her post, accompanied by several pictures of the incident, Dr. Anjali expressed her hope for the rider's speedy recovery and complete treatment.
