Disappointed by Yediyurappa's resignation as CM of Karnataka, youth attempts suicide by consuming poison in Sirsi

Sirsi 23 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A BJP activist on Tuesday allegedly attempted suicide by consuming poison reportedly because he was upset after BS Yeddiyurappa couldn't prove the majority in the Karnataka assembly and had to resign from the post of CM of Karnataka only two days after he was administered the oath for the post.
The incident was reported in Unchalli of Sirsi taluka, and the victim has been identified as Suresh Poojary, a BJP activist of Unchalli.
BS Yeddiyurappa who sworn in as Chief Minister of Karnataka on 17th of May had to resign from the post on May 19th for failing to prove the majority in the assembly after claiming stakes at formation of government, following which a disappointed Suresh attempted suicide. He was soon rushed to a private hospital immediately where he is being treated and is reportedly responding well to the treatment.
A case has been registered at Sirsi Rural Police Station.
