Digital Library Operational at Anjuman Degree College

Bhatkal - 'Digital Libraryat the new library building of Anjuman Degree College & PG Centre is fully operational'. This was announced by the General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen in his press note. According to him, this Library will provide students the modern techniques of obtaining knowledge in pursuing their studies.

It may be noted that, this digital library is in addition to the Digital Library in Anjuman Institute of Technology & Management which was commissioned more than a year ago.

The digital library which has 15 systems with Internet connection will help the students to access text and other books as well as academic journals on any chosen subject from all over the world.

Anjuman is arranging special training courses to its faculty and students to get familiar with the use of Internet and Computers for accessing digital library.

This facility and other infrastructure improvement has been provided with the funds from University Grant Commission grants received by Anjuman last year.

Anjuman has also provided other latest teaching aids such as Laptops and Projectors, Digital Boards, Internet connections, WiFi facilities etc with its own funds right from Kindergarten to Primary, Secondary and High Schools as well as all Colleges.

But the greatest challenge is to motivate our students and staff to use such facilities and appreciate theusefulnessof such modern technology in improving academic standard and performance of Anjuman. He said.
